ABOUT

Every Learner Deserves to Feel Understood

At Attention Hub NZ, we provide comprehensive cognitive and educational assessments that explore how an individual learns, not simply what they know. Every assessment is tailored to the individual, recognising that no two learners are the same. Our goal is to identify strengths, understand areas of difficulty, and provide meaningful recommendations that support long-term educational success.

Individualised Approach

Every assessment is tailored to the learner's unique strengths, needs, history, and goals.

Evidence-Based Assessment

We use internationally recognised assessment tools and consider multiple sources of information.

Practical Recommendations

Our reports provide clear, actionable strategies for home, school, study, and everyday learning.

HOW IT WORKS

Our Assessment Process

Please note: that ASD and ADHD follow a separate clinical pathway. Attention Hub does not provide standalone ASD or ADHD diagnostic assessments.

An initial consultation with a paediatric specialist is required. Attention Hub may provide assessment information or a clinical contribution as part of a broader multidisciplinary process, but formal diagnosis, medical formulation, and any medication or treatment planning must be completed by an appropriately qualified paediatrician or medical specialist.

Referrals to paediatric specialists are available where required.

1 Initial Consultation

We begin with a comprehensive consultation to understand your concerns, developmental history, educational background, and goals. Existing reports from schools, health professionals, and previous assessments are reviewed to help gain a complete picture before testing begins.

2 Comprehensive Assessment

Assessment sessions are individually tailored and may include measures of cognitive abilities, academic achievement, memory, processing skills, executive functioning, attention, language, and learning. We use internationally recognised, evidence-based assessment tools to develop a detailed understanding of each learner's unique profile.

3 In-Depth Analysis

We begin with a comprehensive consultation to understand your concerns, developmental history, educational background, and goals. Existing reports from schools, health professionals, and previous assessments are reviewed to help gain a complete picture before testing begins.

4 Comprehensive Written Report

You will receive a detailed, professionally written report explaining the assessment findings in clear and accessible language. The report may outline individual strengths, areas requiring support, practical recommendations, strategies for home and school, and Special Assessment Conditions recommendations where appropriate, and referrals to other professionals where required.

5 Feedback Session

Once the report is complete, we meet with you to discuss the findings in detail. This session provides an opportunity to ask questions, develop a deeper understanding of the results, and explore the recommendations together.

6 Ongoing Support

Our relationship does not end with the report. We offer continued guidance through learning support, executive function coaching, school consultation, and practical strategies that help learners build confidence and achieve their potential.
